the Titanic listing at sea. There are angels coming downstairs to escort
the spirits skyward, the words to "Nearer my god to thee" appear
along with a robed model praying, Jesus also makes an appearance on this
rather dramatic set of cards. A rare set, ideal for framing. |

Mr John George Phillips (wireless operator) with a photograph of the
Titanic leaving Southampton. "Nearer my god to thee" verses to
the top corners.

photographic postcard (Ref. 3722.B) "The ill fated White Star Liner
"Titanic" again with the wrong date (April 15th) with musical
quotation of "Nearer my God to thee", the hymn the band were
playing as she sunk. Light corner crease to to top left corner, unused. Approximately 3 1/2" x 5
1/2".
Please note this is a genuine vintage TITANIC postcard and not a modern
re-issue. |

dated Thursday April 25th, 1912. "205 bodies picked up in Titanic's
wreckage". "'Keep mouth shut' was Marconi's wireless to
Carpathia says Warship". Together with a doctored image :- "J
Bruce Ismay as he appeared when leaving Carpathia". Professionally
framed and glazed, ready to hang. Complete newspaper approximately

in Aid of the Titanic Disaster Fund held at London's Covent Garden Opera
House on May 14th, 1912 - just four weeks after the disaster.
Participating artists included Anna Pavlova, Sarah Bernhardt, Clara Butt
etc... Approximately 10" x 12". 1 staple missing & general
age wear throughout. Extremely rare. |

A rare and scarce Salesman Edition "Sinking of the Titanic, Thrilling
Stories told by Survivors", Hardback book, 1912. 9 1/2" x
7". This Memorial Edition (1912)
book was one of the first ones to be produced after the disaster being
published in May 1912 less than one month after.
The book gives an introduction with many presumed facts as not
all the information was available at the time of printing, e.g the exact
number of those who perished, the correct names etc... Being a Salesman
Sample Edition, it also has a piece of lined note paper to the back to
take orders (clean).
There is light age wear and toning throughout, though complete in this
form, the cover displays well. 70 pages heavily illustrated throughout. |

used in the first class staterooms on Titanic. This illustrated Ad
appeared in the London Illustrated News edition of April 6, 1912, just
a week before the sinking. The full page ad shows the Turkish Bath,
1st Class State Room and the Swimming Pool. This is the complete 40 page
magazine. Approx. 16"x 11 1/2" (the center pages have come loose
from their staples, but otherwise the paper is intact and in very good
shape for its age).

print shows 13 ways and equipment,
in case of emergency at sea. Hand colored graphics. Approx. 8" x
6" (framed to an overall size of 13 1/2" x 10"). A little
bit of damage to the original frame (top corners), could do with
reframing.
I would estimate the print to be circa 1850's(?). |

Heavy
cast iron box, "To operate, open door and pull loop. Warning siren to
engine room will sound when door is opened". There is a little bolt
on a chain that can pull out to open the door. Approximately 8"
diameter. A few rust spots here and there.
We were told this came from a de-commissioned battleship in Plymouth
docks. |
