Edward - TITANIC Memorial Concert
Original 1912 program for the "Titanic" Band Memorial Concert
held at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 24th May 1912 (Empire Day). Signed
on the inside by all six conductors : Sir Edward Elgar - London Symphony
Orchestra, Sir Henry Wood - Queen's Hall Orchestra, Mr Landon Ronald - New
Symphony Orchestra, Mr Thomas Beecham - Beecham Symphony Orchestra, Mr
Percy Pitt - Musical Director of the Royal Opera House, Mr Fritz Ernaldy,
London Opera House and Herr Mengelberg. Sir Edward Elgar also signed the
front of the cover in red pencil. The program is in good condition,
considering its age, with no missing pages. Approx. 7.5" x 10".

Landing card date stamped on the reverse 27th August 1970, Immigration Officer,
London Airport. Approx. size 6" x 4". Filled in and signed in
blue biro by Hendrix. This is Jimi Hendrix's last landing card, he was
flying to England to play the Isle of Wight Festival and died a month

JONES, Brian
Brian Jones signed letter, one page, 8vo, n.p. (London), n.d. (31st
December 1965), to "Dear Shandi" (Miss Ruth Barnett). Jones
states that the American tour was fabulous, remarking 'We had a great
reception from them. The Americans seem to accept us now'. In concluding
the musician refers to Christmas. Accompanied by the original envelope.
