Edward - TITANIC Memorial Concert Original 1912 program for the "Titanic" Band Memorial Concert held at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 24th May 1912 (Empire Day). Signed on the inside by all six conductors : Sir Edward Elgar - London Symphony Orchestra, Sir Henry Wood - Queen's Hall Orchestra, Mr Landon Ronald - New Symphony Orchestra, Mr Thomas Beecham - Beecham Symphony Orchestra, Mr Percy Pitt - Musical Director of the Royal Opera House, Mr Fritz Ernaldy, London Opera House and Herr Mengelberg. Sir Edward Elgar also signed the front of the cover in red pencil. The program is in good condition, considering its age, with no missing pages. Approx. 7.5" x 10". A wonderful and rare item. |
