ZEPPELIN
Vintage 1930’s LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin postcard souvenir pull-out booklet,
with cachet to front stating they were sold on the return from the world
voyage "Zur Erinnerung an die Rückkehr des Luftschiffes Graf
Zeppelin von der Weltreise". The front also states that it contains
10 different real photographic postcards. These depict Count Zeppelin and
interiors of the LZ127, including cabin, lounge, kitchen etc…,
Friedrichshafen and a diagram of the Airship. It is in good condition
considering its age. Approx. 6" x 4.5". Rare.
LZ 127, the Graf Zeppelin - Arguably
the most important Zeppelin ever built, the Graf Zeppelin proved what
could be done with a properly run and maintained Zeppelin. The Graf
Zeppelin was the ultimate in passenger air travel for the day and could
put any modern commercial jet to shame when it comes to comfort and style.
The Graf was first walked out of her hangar on the 18th of September,
1928. She would fly farther than any Zeppelin before or since.
