Winston Sir Winston Churchill sculpture by Oscar Nemon. At the command of H.M. The Queen in 1953, the year of the Coronation, Oscar Nemon completed his famous bust of Sir Winston Churchill. It was the desire of the sculptor that his work should be more widely available and to this purpose he commissioned Spode to reproduce it for sale. Made of fine Bone China, finished, not by glazing but by careful polishing by hand, thus preserving every detail of the original. Printed on the base First Edition 1965.
